Safe PdvMobile Privacy Policy

This privacy policy governs your use of the Safe PdvMobile software application (“Application”) for mobile devices, created by Unika Sistemas LTDA - ME.

What data does the Application obtain and how is it used?

Data Provided by the User

The Application obtains the personal data you provide when you download the Application and register with it. Registering with us is optional. However, please note that you may not be able to use some of the features offered by the Application if you do not register with us.

When you register with us and use the Application, you generally provide (a) your name, email address, phone numbers, password and other registration information; (b) transaction-related information, such as when you make purchases, respond to offers or download or use our applications; (c) information you provide when you contact us for help; (d) credit card information for the purchase and use of the Application; and (e) information you enter into our system when using the Application, such as contact and project management information.

We may also use the information you have provided to contact you from time to time, in order to send important information, mandatory notices and marketing promotions.

Data Collected Automatically

In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device’s unique identifier, your mobile device’s IP address, your mobile device’s operating system, the type of mobile internet browser you use and information about the way you use the Application.

Does the Application collect precise real-time location information of the device?

This Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services, to help us improve the Application and our service. We will only share your information with third parties in the ways described in this privacy statement.

We may disclose the Data Provided by the User and the Data Collected Automatically:

as required by law, for example to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process;
when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or that of others, investigate fraud or respond to a government request;
to our trusted service providers who work on our behalf, do not make independent use of the information we disclose to them and have agreed to comply with the rules set out in this privacy statement;
if Unika Sistemas LTDA - ME takes part in a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of its assets, you will be notified by email and/or by a prominent notice on our website of any change in ownership or in the uses of this information, as well as of the choices you may have regarding this information.

What are my opt-out rights?

You can easily stop all collection of information by the Application by uninstalling it. To do so, use the standard uninstall procedures available on your mobile device or in the mobile application store or network. You can also request to opt out by email, at atendimento@unikasistemas.com.br.

Data Retention Policy and Management of Your Information

We will keep the Data Provided by the User for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable period afterwards. We will keep the Data Collected Automatically for up to 24 months and, after that, we may store it in aggregated form. If you want us to delete the Data Provided by the User that you provided through the Application, contact us at atendimento@unikasistemas.com.br and we will respond within a reasonable time. Please note that some or all of the Data Provided by the User may be required for the Application to work properly.

Children

We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from children under 13 or to market to them. If a parent or legal guardian learns that their child has provided us with information without their consent, they should contact us at atendimento@unikasistemas.com.br. We will delete that information from our records within a reasonable time.

Security

We care about protecting the confidentiality of your information. We use physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect the information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and service providers who need to know it to operate, develop or improve our Application. Please be aware that, although we strive to provide reasonable security for the information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time, for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy at http://www.unikasistemas.com.br/en/privacy. We recommend that you review this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use will be deemed approval of all changes.

By using the Application, you consent to the processing of your personal data as set out in this Privacy Policy, in its current version and as amended by us. “Processing” means the use of cookies on a computer or handheld device, or the use or handling of information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information, all of which activities will take place in Brazil. If you reside outside Brazil, your information will be transferred, processed and stored in Brazil in accordance with Brazilian privacy rules.
